The 2026 Revel Mt. Charleston Marathon returns on March 28th in the early morning.
What this means is that there will be major road closures along Fort Apache Road as the runners make there way down Kyle Canyon Road to the Thunderbird Family Sports Complex.Please be mindful as you are driving in the northwest part of the valley.

For all of the runners, good luck and I hope that you have a nice carb heavy meal the night before with a well-deserved treat after the race. Whether you are racing or cheering someone one please stay hydrated-the sun is merciless.

🏀 Early dismissal: After defeating UC Irvine to make it to the second round of March Madness, the Runnin’ Rebels were outlasted by Tulsa 77-66. Congratulations on a great season Rebels.

🔥 Heat Records: You might have noticed that we’ve been in a bit of heat wave, and if you haven’t I’ll take one of whatever you’re having. This past week we have broken several heat records with some local temperatures hitting 100ºF. Officially we have yet to reach that critical threshold so you can tell your relatives it's still "Spring”.

🏀 More Basketball? NBA owners are meeting this week to decide the fate for new expansion teams, one of which will likely be in our great city and the other reprisal of the Seattle Supersonics.

The Aviators, our 2025 PCL Champions open up their 7th season against the Salt Lake Bees. The game starts at 7:05 pm, but be sure to get there early to snag their promotional PCL championship ring.

The Aviators are once again hosting the Salt Lake Bees with a 7:05 pm start.

To complete the triple header the Aviators are hosting the Salt Lake Bees at a much earlier 12:05 pm.

The Golden Knight complete a Canadian triple header of their own as they face the Vancouver Canucks at 7pm.
