Good morning, Las Vegas. We’re going to have a great Juneteenth and Father’s day weekend. If you’re still mourning the Knights Stanley Cup loss know that you’re not alone. On the bright side there’s plenty more professional sports happening this week to help console you.

Conversations Over Coffee
There are many ways to judge whether a coffee shop is good, my personal favorite? Do you have a mid-size group of semi-retirees that sit down at a reserved table on a set weekly schedule.
It’s specific but it shows that the coffee, food, and environment must be pretty darn good. Convo Coffee located at the top of Cheyenne and 215 is just that. This 3-generation run coffee shop specializes in that homely feel that is all so forgotten in the uptight corporate driven coffee scene in Las Vegas
It starts in the morning when grandpa comes in at 2 am to make the pastries fresh every morning (except Wednesdays, they’re closed.) Mom comes in the wee hours before she teaches to get everything set up then the kids (adults) and their friends run the store.
It’s called Convo Coffee because that’s the emphasis. There is no wifi or public outlets. You come here to sit and have a conversation. Even if you’re by yourself the owners will come up to you, if you’re open to it, and have a chat.
There is a large collection of board games and puzzles suitable for all ages to enjoy from a quick game of tic tac toe to Risk for those with an entire morning to kill. There’s even a dedicated kid zone so you can have a meetup with your friends without your kid impatiently sitting bored out of their mind.
The walls are adorned with the artwork of patrons and the shelves are full of coffee related adornments with random crafts like you would find in any lived in home. You get the sense that this place is loved.
It’s for all of these reasons that I whole-heartedly believe that when you have a moment for a slow morning over coffee you should enjoy it here at Convo Coffee

Adventure travel built for families
Intrepid Travel has just launched its new Premium Family range — eight new trips across Costa Rica, Sri Lanka, India, Borneo, Vietnam, Morocco, Thailand and Egypt. Small groups of three to five families. Intrepid's most experienced local guides. Immersive, kid-focused activities and elevated stays, with all the logistics handled for you. Watch baby orangutans learn to climb in Borneo. Stargaze at a desert camp in Morocco. Spot leopards on safari in India. These aren't holidays where you watch the world through a window — they're the kind of trips kids remember when they're grown up. Bookings for Intrepid's Family range grew 19% in 2025, and their new Premium tier is their fastest-growing travel style for good reason.
